Dr. Daniel Nam graduated from UCLA with a BA in Piano performance in 1996 and then UOP School of Dentistry in 2002. Currently he has private practices in SF and Oakland. He is also the Director of Dental Services at the Berkeley Free Clinic where he has been serving homeless and low income families since 2003. Dr. Nam is Staff dentist at Alta Bates Medical Center- Summit and Ashby campuses working with the Emergency Department, ICU, oncology and rehab departments. He is also on the Clinical faculty at UOP School of Dentistry where he teaches on Monday evenings. Dr. Nam is committed to alleviating suffering from dental pain, trauma, and fear. Amy Blake joined our practice in July 2016. She graduated from the University of the Pacific in 2015 and then completed a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in the Bay Area. Dr. Blake comes from an extensive background of volunteering with undeserved populations and has a strong interest in public health. She volunteered for more than 5 years at the Berkeley Free Clinic, and has volunteered at many large scale free health care events providing direct services to patients. Besides her work in the practice, she also works at two local community clinics, maintaining her commitment to helping vulnerable populations. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking and going to the beach with her husband and their two dogs, cooking and baking, knitting and other crafts.
Erin is a graduate of San Francisco State University with a degree in Sociology & Critical Social Thought. She has an extensive customer service background, which has evolved into a passion for providing patient's with exceptional care. Originally from the Half Moon Bay coastside, she spends as much time as possible at the beach with her husband and daughter as well as their family mutt.
Taylor graduated from the Dental Hygiene program at Foothill College in Los Altos. Her passion for dental hygiene started as a child growing up in Grass Valley and continues to get stronger with every day. Her patients are like family to her and she wants to thank each and every one of you for embarking on this wonderful journey with her!
Mai Zong graduated from UC Berkeley in 2014 with a degree in Integrative Biology and double minors in Education and Global Poverty and Practice. Originally from Fresno, her passion for dentistry and community health stemmed from witnessing poor oral health in her own community. Her hobbies include backpacking and exploring everything that the great outdoors have to offer!
